Sam Metz provided a drawing as Stimming workshop for Academy of Theatre and Dance Amsterdam for the"What if... Neurodiversity" symposium and related projects exploring the intersection of art, neurodiversity, and sociality, particularly focusing on the experiences of those who identify as neurodivergent, shy, or introverted. It challenges the dominance of "neurotypical" norms in art and education, examining how these norms can hinder creative and social expression for neurodivergent individuals. The project, including "shy*play," aims to create spaces for experimenting with alternative forms of sociality that center on neurodivergent experiences and perspectives.
